Reflection of Life

Corada Estelle Warren Baucum received her wings on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Genesis LaPlata Center.

Born to the late Deacon and Deaconess Harry & Viola Warren, on November 22, 1926, in Welcome, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Leee (April 11, 2008); and all of her 17 siblings.

Corada was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother, "GG" Mom, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend.

She joined Zion at a very young age and served her Church well. She loved attending - hearing the singing and Pastor Thorpe's preaching. On May 8, 2015, Pastor Thorpe bestowed upon her the title of "Church Mother." She was also a dedicated Deaconess and served proudly.

She was educated in the Charles County School System, starting in the "One Room School House," and in 1943, graduating from Bel Alton High School.

Corada's work history began at the LaPlata Laundry, then in food service at both Andrews Air Force Base and St. Elizabeth's Hospital, from where she retired.

Corada was the family's Matriarch. She was a caring, devoted and loving Wife of 62 years to her beloved Henry Lee.

She leaves to cherish her memories, six Children: Catherin, Sharon, Cordell (Inez); Harold (Akua); Bernard (Sandy); and Larry (Betty).

She had a special place in her heart for all of her Grand's: JaJa (Renai); Jeremy (Andrea); Kalonji; Lavone (Antonio); Mongo (Dana); Devonte (Sonya); Tomeko (Rock); Adhimu (Nina); Angela, Kwesi, Asante', Lashawn, Naima, Nataki, Bianca, Shariese, Mahita, Markien, Deborah, Rason, Roges, and Keith, Sr.

Great-Grandchildren: Janai, Jocelyn, Eli, Ian, Louis, Cynithia, Shervone, Shermaine, Cassidy, Diamond, Kwesi, Yaa, Akil, Mekhi, Shakara, Amari, Jada, Spencer, Aliyah, Zariyah, Mikaela, Elaena, Shah-yee, Hope, Kyla, Keith I, Keith II, Latesha, Ordez, and Diamond.

Great-Great Grandchildren: Cynphani, Kiyen, Layla, Jaylen, Rajon, Daeja, Xavier, and Saniya.

Loving Cousins, Saisa Neel; Mattie Ruth McLaurin; and Mamie Dozier, one Goddaughter, Joyce Hurd; a special Nephew: James Pate; special Nieces: Mildred Davis, Frances Warren, Brenda Halsey, Betty Brooks, Juanita Mason, Brenda Sartor and Juan Smith; extended Family members: Pamelia Demby, Avis Baucum, Helen Baucum, Mary Baucum, Rose Dorsey, Charlene Twitty, Robert L.
