Reflection of Life

Fern passed peacefully from this life the evening of December 29, 2018 after a gradual decline in health. She was supported by her loving husband, William Bennett when she passed. Fern was born in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina to Minnie May McLean on April 5, 1956. Fern relocated to Utica New York where she eventually met her husband of forty-three years William Earl Bennett. Fern and Bill moved to Nuremberg, Germany where she worked as a model and artist. When she returned to America Fern moved with her husband to the eastern seaboard, working in various roles as a dedicated mother, government administrator, newscaster and customer service representative for the Home Depot where she took that opportunity to remodel her Oxon Hill home and plant her beloved gardens. However, Fern never stopped her love of painting and writing poetry.
