In Memory of Jaelyn Chardawn "Miss B" Arnold-Young

On March 11, 1999, at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, the world welcomed a radiant soul, Jaelyn Chardawn Arnold-Young, affectionately known as "Miss B." Her journey on this earth concluded on October 20, 2023, as the sun set on a life filled with love, strength, and unwavering resilience.

Jaelyn's high school years were spent at Surrattsville High School, culminating in her graduation in 2020. Throughout her too-short life, Jaelyn embodied love and fortitude, facing challenges with a fighting mind, body, and spirit that inspired all who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, survived by her grandparents Patricia Arnold and Debbie Boswell, her parents Frementsis Arnold, Christian Wright, and Christopher Young, and her siblings Harold Stroud, Myles Wright, Christopher Young Jr., and Imani Carlton-Young. Jaelyn is preceded in death by her brother Jaden Arnold-Young, a presence that will surely be missed.

As we bid farewell to Jaelyn, let us remember her spirit's warmth, her laughter's strength, and the love she generously shared with family and friends. In this time of mourning, may we find solace in the cherished memories we hold dear, celebrating the beautiful and impactful life of Jaelyn Chardawn "Miss B" Arnold-Young.

A memorial service to honor Jaelyn's life will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023, allowing friends and family to come together in remembrance.  May Jaelyn's soul find eternal peace, and may her memory live on in the hearts of those touched by her presence.
