Reflection of Life

La Verne was born on March 19,1928 to the late Hazel L Williams and Ralph Jones Sr. in Washington DC. She received her education in the District of Columbia Public School System at Anthony Bowen Elementary, Randall Jr. High and graduated from Cardoza High School. At an early age, La Verene committed her life to Christ at Zion Baptist Church. She faithful sang in the choir as a second soprano for more than 50. The essence of La Verene was her generosity, quiet strength, intellect, quick wit, love of music and no nonsense approach to life.
