Lenahorne Bennett, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023, peacefully departed this world at Washington Adventist Hospital in Maryland, confirming a life well-lived. Born on September 5, 1946, in the Philippines to Joseph Bennett Jr. and Dionisia Rosellosa (Mary), she later moved to the United States three decades ago.

Lena, as she was affectionately known, received her education in the Philippines and leaves behind a legacy of resilience and adaptability. Survived by her sister, Rosalinda Mary, residing in Toronto, Canada, Lena's impact extended to numerous cousins, nieces, nephews in Canada and the Philippines, and her dear friends from Maryland, Texas and Virgina.

In her professional journey, Lena served as a cafeteria staff at Genesis School in Deal, Maryland, before transitioning to Annandale, MD, where she dedicated herself as a Private Health Care Aide until her well-earned retirement. The final chapter of her life unfolded at Fort Washington Health Center, where she spent her last years.

Ms. Bennett's journey comes full circle as she will be laid to rest in the Philippines.
